The bustling town of Victoria Falls offers a variety of activities and accommodation. The Victoria Falls Hotel is a colonial style classic where it would be rude not to have a gin and tonic on the lawn overlooking the Zambezi. For almost 100 years, visiting members of royal families, international and local statesmen and celebrities have preferred to stay at The Victoria Falls Hotel combining the charm of the old with the comfort and convenience of today. The vast Hwange National Park is a haven for huge herd of elephant and buffalo and summer sees the antelope herds migrate onto the plains, closely followed by predators. Here Little Makalolo Camp consists of six tented rooms overlooking a waterhole with excellent concentrations of wildlife. Mana Pools National Park is a photographer's paradise with its mountains, Zambezi River frontage, open floodplains and dense forest. Ruckomechi Camp has ten tented rooms set amongst acacia and mahogany trees along the banks of the river. Activities offered include game drives, boating, canoeing and walking safaris.
