We thank you
for choosing Natural Migrations as your African safari specialist! The
first step in the booking procedure is to discuss your expectations and
interests, where you would like to travel, when and for how long, and your
approximate budget. Natural
Migrations will then prepare an itinerary specially for you with a quote, a
process that normally takes a couple of days. This itinerary and quote will be
emailed to you to look over.
Upon acceptance of your
itinerary, a deposit of 25% per person is required to confirm your arrangements.
We will email you a
credit card authorization
form to complete and fax back to us.
Once your deposit has been processed we will confirm your land arrangements and
either email or FedEx your pre-departure information. The 3
forms included in the package should be completed, signed and returned to us
as soon as possible as these details are required by our office to process
your booking. The 3 forms are:
1).
Client Profile, a simple one page form requesting your
contact and passport details, and whether you have any special requirements.
2). Terms and Conditions, which
outline the agreement between Natural Migrations and you, the traveler. You will
be advised of (but not limited to) the following:
▪ Payment requirements
▪ Services that are not included in the
cost such as visa fees, insurance, gratuities, etc.
▪ Cancellation and change fees
▪ Baggage stipulations
▪ Health requirements
▪ Risks
involved in participating in adventure trips and traveling to remote areas.
▪ Recommended travel insurance
3).
60 days prior to your departure Natural Migrations will contact you
to request final payment. We will then FedEx your final
itinerary, contact information, air tickets, vouchers,
pre-departure information per country you are visiting, safari checklist and any other documentation
required.
Please read Frequently Asked Questions for information on health requirements, visas, luggage, etc.
All that remains is for you
prepare for the trip of a lifetime!
Hāmba gāshle!
("Go well" in Zulu.)
Note:
a). In order to acquire full travel insurance coverage,
insurance must be obtained within 15 days of making your initial deposit. Please contact the insurance company directly to obtain the proper
insurance to suit your personal requirements.
b). Names on air tickets
and names as they appear in passports must be identical. If this is not the
case, tickets must be cancelled, penalties applied and reissued.
c). South African law requires all passengers traveling to South Africa to have
three blank visa pages with two blank visa pages facing each other in their passport for each entry into the
country, to enable an entry stamp to be issued. Insufficient space in the
passport will result in entry being denied and the person is likely to be
detained pending return to their country of origin. Also passports must be valid
for a minimum of six months from the return date to the United States.
d). All rates are subject to change without notice.
